Time to MOVE Seminar

This 2 hour seminar can be held any day or evening and is designed to empower believers to reach their world with the ‘Good News’ about Jesus. The word MOVE stands for four very important words that are needed in all churches.

MOTIVATION – The Christian faith is under a lot of opposition and we all need to face the challenge of obeying God’s Great Commission in the midst of pressures on us from the world. We know that people should trust Christ, so we explore how believers can be motivated to share God’s love in both word and action.

OBEDIENCE – Often we see evangelism as being the work of the pastors, Evangelist, or those who have been given special gifts in ministry. The role of the evangelist is to equip people to do the work of evangelism. The Great Commission was given to ALL believers. We are all called to be witnesses for Christ and be His ambassadors in our world.

"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the end of the age". Matthew 28:18-20  

VISION – It is not a matter of what we can do for God, but what can God do through us. Growing the Church is in fact seeking to grow the Kingdom of God. Prayer and vision goes hand–in–hand as the vision we need is to see what God wants to do through us and our church. Time is given to building your church’s vision together as a group.

EVANGELISM – Is proclaiming the GOOD NEWS. The best thing we can do for God and our friends is to introduce them to each other. You may be the only person in another person’s life who knows clearly who Jesus is. We cannot make people believe, but we can give them an opportunity to know God personally. We explore how each person can be equipped to do the work of evangelism.

Everyone will receive training along with a range of evangelism and discipleship materials. Let's give everyone the opportunity of knowing Christ and being able to go to Heaven.
